Meet the men behind this site.

Some (many) of the photographs on this site have been supplied by Eric Goossens. He is Belgian by birth and has a long history in the tourism industry. He moved to Gallipoli in 2005 together with his wife Özlem to build and operate a small hotel. The Gallipoli Houses, offers accommodation for those looking for peace and quiet at a stone’s throw from the Anzac battlefields with the Suvla & Helles battlefields respectively only a 20 or 30 minutes drive away.

Eric Goossens & Özlem Gündüz have a large collection of peninsula pictures – taken during their many walks in the battlefields - which they put at the disposal of all interested in the Campaign (personal use, research and publications) at no cost. Note however that written permission of Gallipoli Ltd must be sought and credentials included in all publications.
