officer's gilded brass belt buckle, showing a five-pointed star within
the horns of a crescent moon, on a stippled background. This device is
encircled by a laurel wreath.
The left side of the buck has a
rectangular fitting where it would fit onto the belt. There is clasp
fitting behind the right side of the buckle.
